Volunteers

We have over 100 volunteers who work on a rota basis, sorting donations, packing food parcels, listening to clients and delivering parcels to those who can’t get to us. We also have a small team carrying out administrative tasks, such as fuel voucher referrals, IT support and documentation updates.

Trustees

Our Trustees are all volunteers who oversee the charity and its funding. They meet every couple of months to review finances, hear operational updates from the food bank manager and agree the focus of work in the coming months

Staff team

Jessica joined us as Food Bank Manager in autumn 2023 and brings a range of experience from business, professional services and not for profit organisations. She works part-time overseeing the food bank operations and promoting our work in the community.

Farideh joined the team in spring 2025 as our full-time administrator. She brings some great IT knowledge and as well as keeping busy with ensuring we have all the information we need in client referrals, is focussing on moving us to more efficient processes and software. 

Stacey joined us in summer 2025 as our stock administrator (10 hours per week) and has a real heart for serving those who are in food crisis as she has seen first hand the impact this has on children in the school where she works.
